**CHICAGO —** Kelsey Mitchell delivered another standout performance, scoring 27 points to establish a new WNBA single-season record for consecutive 20-point games as the Indiana Fever defeated the Chicago Sky 90-86 on Saturday.

Mitchell reached the 20-point mark for the **16th consecutive game**, surpassing the previous single-season record. She finished 11-of-22 from the field and knocked down three 3-pointers. Her next target is the WNBA's overall record of **20 consecutive 20-point games**, held by Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson across two seasons.

Caitlin Clark also played a major role in Indiana's victory, recording **26 points and 11 assists**. She added five 3-pointers, producing at least 25 points, 10 assists and five made 3s for the eighth time in her career. Only four other players in WNBA history have reached that combination.

The Fever improved to **20-12** with the victory, while Indiana's balanced attack also included 13 points and 11 rebounds from Aliyah Boston and 10 points from Makayla Timpson.

                                                                                      

Carrington Ejected Early

The game took a controversial turn in the opening quarter when Chicago's DiJonai Carrington was ejected after receiving a **Flagrant 2 foul** on Indiana's Sophie Cunningham.

Several minutes after the ejection, Carrington posted the words **“WHITE PRIVILEGE”** on social media and tagged the Fever, adding another layer of controversy to an already heated matchup.

Fever Pull Away in Second Quarter

The game was tied before Indiana produced a decisive second-quarter surge. Mitchell scored eight consecutive points, while Clark followed with a 3-pointer during a **13-0 Fever run**.

                                                                             

That burst transformed a close contest into a 46-33 Indiana advantage. The Fever eventually carried a **53-42 lead into halftime**.

Indiana maintained control through the third quarter and entered the final period ahead 71-62.

Sky Make Late Push

Chicago refused to go away quietly. Jacy Sheldon hit a 3-pointer with 28 seconds remaining to cut Indiana's lead to **89-86**, putting pressure on the Fever in the closing moments.

Clark then made one of two free throws with 10 seconds remaining to give Indiana the final four-point cushion and secure the victory.

                                                                                

Natasha Cloud and reserve Rachel Banham each scored **17 points** for Chicago, while Kamilla Cardoso added 14 points and nine rebounds.

The Sky fell to **12-2**.

Clark's Technical Foul Rescinded

Clark also avoided a potential suspension after the WNBA rescinded the technical foul she received during the game following contact with a referee.

Clark said the contact was inadvertent and that no words were exchanged. Had the technical foul remained, it would have been her **eighth technical of the season**, which would have triggered a one-game suspension.                                                                           

With the ruling overturned, Clark will be available for Indiana's next game.
